Fermo
Fermo is a province of Le Marche region, as well as a historic town of ancient foundation, as confirmed by the artifacts kept in the archaeological museum of the city. It is also an important center of attraction for tourism thanks to a calendar that is always full of activities and events with music and entertainment. The most important anniversary in Fermo is the feast of Maria Assunta, celebrated on August 15th. In this period, the Palio takes place.
Palm Tower
It is one of the most beautiful and picturesque villages in Italy, located just 5 minutes from the campsite. The medieval town was born as a defensive fortification and belongs, today, to the circle of castles of Fermo. It provides a fantastic panoramic balcony perched on a hilltop overlooking the entire Adriatic coastline. It offers culture, history, breathtaking landscapes and delicious local specialties.
Recanati
Located in the center of Le Marche region, in a strategic position, between the coast and the hinterland, Recanati is the typical balcony city for the vast panorama it offers. Famous for being the birthplace of Giacomo Leopardi, one of the greatest poets of Italian literature, Recanati has been nominated for Italian Capital of Culture 2018.
Frasassi
Among the largest and most fascinating in Europe, the Frasassi Caves are located in Genga, within the Gola Rossa Regional Natural Park. The magic of these underground karst caves is indisputable: they are a spectacle that nature has created over millions of years. Today, they are also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Loreto
It is the city of faith par excellence and a very important pilgrimage destination in Italy and around the world. At the top of the hill that hosts the city, Loreto guards one of the most important treasures of Christianity: The Holy House of Mary of Nazareth.
Ascoli Piceno
Timeless medieval village where art, architecture, food and wine are spokesmen of Italian excellence. It is called “the city of white stone” for its travertine palaces and noble squares shining with golden light. It is also the “city of a hundred towers” for its bell towers and towers that mark its skyline.
